7 days Turkey Tours – Istanbul Gallipoli Troy Pergamum Ephesus and Pamukkale
Day 1 – Istanbul
7 Days Turkey Tours – On your arrival to IST or Sabiha Gokcen airport, meet our driver who hold a sign M 55 at first exit of the gate. Day 2 – Free day in Istanbul (B)
After breakfast you are free to explore Istanbul on your own. You can visit Ottoman and Byzantine relics in old city of Istanbul which will be Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Hippodrome and Topkapi palace. If you wish you can visit all these places with our Istanbul old city tour. Overnight in Istanbul.
Day 3: Gallipoli Tour (Lunch)
Driver pick you up from your hotel in Istanbul around 06:30-07:00am and on our way to Gallipoli we stop by to have breakfast, after driving 5 hours you will arrive to Gallipoli. Then you will start your visit different memorials of Dardanelles, Brighton Beach, Beach Cemetery, ANZAC Cove, Ariburnu Cemetery, ANZAC Commemorative Site, Respect to Mehmetcik Statue, Lone Pine Australian Memorial, Johnstons Jolly (Turkish and Allied trenches and tunnels), Turkish 57. Infantry Regiment Cemetery, The Nek, Chunuk Bair New Zealand Memorial. You will have your lunch in a traditional Turkish restaurant. End of the tour, you will take a ferry to Canakkale and overnight in the hotel.
Day 4: Troy and Pergamum Tour(*B *L)
Around 08:30-08:45 am your guide will pick you up from your hotel and you will join your group to visit Troy Ancient City. You will be surprised with genially made Trojan Horse and you will discover over 10 ancient cities built one on another, dating back to 3500 BC, passing through Apollo Temple, fortified city walls, battle field where Hector and Achilles fought for power, Roman Theater, Greco-Roman Senate building roundly shaped that hosted deputies of democracy. After Troy, drive to Pergamum. You are going to have your lunch in a traditional restaurant. Then visit the ancient city of Pergamum which held one of the most important libraries in the ancient world. After tour, a ride to Kusadası and transfer to your hotel for overnight stay.
Day 5: Ephesus Tour(*B *L)
After breakfast you will be picked from your hotel around 09:00-09:30 and you will be transferred to full day Ephesus tour. You will start your visit with one of the 7 wonders of ancient world; Artemis Temple, city ruins of Ephesus as Hadrian Temple, Celcius Library, theater, hamams, passing through old harbor path. You will have your lunch in a traditional Turkish restaurant. In the afternoon you will visit House of Virgin Mary where she spent her last 5 years, which is recognized by Vatican as pilgrimage destination for Christians, visited by Pope Leo XII and Benedict XVI.End of the tour transfer to your hotel and overnight stay in Kusadasi.
Day 6: Pamukkale Tour(*B *L)
After breakfast you will be picked from your hotel around 08:00-08:30am and join to Pamukkale Hierapolis tour. Pamukkale means “cotton castle” in Turkish and it is a natural site contains hot springs and travertine, terraces of carbonate minerals left by the flowing water with its temperate climate for most of the year. We will also visit the ancient city Hierapolis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The hot springs there have been used as a spa since the 2nd century BC, and people came to soothe their ailments, with many of them retiring or dying here. The large Necropolis is filled with sarcophagi, including the Sarcophagus of Marcus Aurelius. You will have also the chance to swim in Cleopatra Swimming Pool. You will have your lunch during the excursion. End of the tour transfer to airport and take a flight to Istanbul and transfer to hotel.
Day 7 – Istanbul, departure (B)
